 Ashley Carr earned her Bachelor of Science in Equine Science with a minor in Agriculture Business from Colorado State University and has earned her Master’s Degree in Integrated Resource Management, also from Colorado State University. In high school, she had the unique opportunity to work as an exercise rider at Santa Anita Race Track in Southern California, galloping on the track thoroughbreds. She also trained with natural horsemanship trainer, Ned Murphy, on starting horses, trailer loading and groundwork.  Ashley has been a catch rider in many disciplines including dressage, hunter/jumper and eventing.
 Ashley’s USEA Instructor Certification Program Level II certification is nearly complete.  In a recent workshop with Karen O’ Connor Karen said, “Ashley has the knowledge and maturity that it takes to be a great trainer and coach.  When her true personality shines through she’s the whole enchilada!”
Buck Davidson said recently,”Ashley is riding extremely well on some very difficult horses.”
Ashley is currently competing several horses at events in Area IX and travels this winter to train and compete back East. She often competes client horses at their first outings to provide the horse a successful experience with her calm and confident demeanor.
She is aiming her own “Just Because” for CCI***.  “Elite Envy”, an Irish sport horse by Formula One, is aiming for her first CCI**. TW front and Center is moving up the ranks quickly; watch for her to be winning at the Training Level soon! Ashley has produced these horses from the ground up; taking Elite Envy from BN to Preliminary in 16 months.
Ashley has been training with Vicki since late 2013 and, in that time she has assisted in developing and competing multiple horses for clients.

Ashley is available for lessons, coaching, training and catch rides to improve you and your horse in dressage, cross county riding, show jumping, hunters, natural horsemanship and much more. Ashley does travel to farms from Cheyenne to Brighton.
